Countryside Classroom is proud to be partnering with Grow Your Own Playground to grow a love of nature, learning and sustainability in schools.
This partnership means even more opportunities for children to enjoy hands-on activities that connect them with nature, food and the environment. Through planting, gardening, exploring wildlife and learning about sustainability, pupils develop important skills while having fun outdoors.
Grow Your Own Playground works with over 7,500 children each year across East London and currently partners with more than 16 schools. Their workshops are carefully designed to match what children are learning in class and what is growing outside in the school grounds, making every session relevant, exciting and practical.
Children who take part in Grow Your Own Playground sessions don’t just learn about nature – they develop confidence, independence and responsibility as they grow plants, care for the environment and discover where food comes from.
By working together with Countryside Classroom, Grow Your Own Playground will be able to bring even more high-quality outdoor learning experiences into schools, helping children to become curious, capable and environmentally aware learners.
